When my sister and I cleaned out my mom’s living room recently, we discovered half a dozen bottles of root beer that we had brewed ourselves back in 1996. We had even designed the labels ourselves (Sia loves Snoopy), adding “Born On” dates just like Budweiser had done earlier that year.

Cute, no? Well, the bottles look cute but I recall the root beer itself tasting like crap, which is probably why there were so many bottles left.
