Yesterday, the Markses, the senior Markses and the Chungs celebrated Riley’s 100th day, a Korean tradition I’m not familiar with but find interesting nonetheless.
My mom prepared a nice Korean feast, Linda made a delicious manicotti dish, and we had the obligatory rice cake present at all Korean celebrations.
The guest of honor, Riley, had little to do but be present. I’m probably alone in thinking this but I think Riley looks like a miniature Cho.
For me, the best part of the event was seeing Ken and Linda. The last time I saw them was nearly a decade ago.

Fancy dol
Oh wait, it’s the bek il. Your family going to do the dol later?
What’s a dol?
Baby’s first birthday. Family’s supposed to go balls to the wall for that shiznit.
Tobia, I wanna be an Honorary Korean! Y’all throw down some delicious food and I want a rice cake too! You and Sia are adorable! But where is Arnon?
Sean, you can totally be an honorary Korean. You just have to chain-smoke and drink heavily.
Arnon was at his niece’s birthday party.
