At last Saturday’s San Jose Stealth game against the Colorado Mammoth, we got to see something out of the ordinary.
During halftime, professional competitive eater Joey Chestnut, who dethroned hot dog eating legend Takeru Kobayashi a couple of years ago, set a new world record by consuming ten and a half pounds of macaroni and cheese in seven minutes. It was both awesome and grotesque.
Joey Chestnut and the handful of men competing against him each had a bucket in case a “reversal” occurred, but fortunately everyone held their food down.
