I Want This Car

A while back, Anuj and I were standing out on the seventh floor balcony at work when he pointed out a cute red car that was passing by on the street below. It was so very Hello Kitty and I was sad that I couldn't take a picture of it. Then about a month ago, I saw the same car in the parking garage below Whole Foods.

The car is so very ME! And it's smaller than it appears in the photos. Surprisingly, I saw five large guys driving away in it. All of them were hunched over and looked somewhat uncomfortable, but I'm sure it was worth the discomfort to travel in cuteness.

That is a cute car! What kind is it? I've never seen one! It reminds me of Ms. Montoya's car (Mrs. Choate's teacher's aid, remember?). It was a winter green classic bug with shiny chrome bumpers. I thought that was the prettiest car in the world...

Wow, how weird. Did you happent to see a manufacturer or model name anywhere on it? It looks vaugely Volkswagonian, but I've never seen anything like it before, and it doesn't really look like a custom job.

I thought it was a tiny Volkswagen but it's not. I would love to drive one.

I remember the names Montoya and Choate but can't remember what they look like. :( I think I would still like to drive a winter green classic bug. Sounds cute.

Ms. Choate had brown short, sandy duncan hair and was shaped kind of like twiggy. Ms. Montoya had curly, short blonde hair, was curvier and wore more makeup...haha, I hope they never read these descriptions of themselves...they sound a bit strange...oh, they were our first grade kindergarten teachers :)

It's scary to think that most of them may not be alive anymore...
